GoWest Announcement: Alexandra Björk is joining our team!

The GoWest team is growing! We are proud to announce that a new team member is onboard, and we are happy to present that it is Alexandra Björk, who joins us in our mission to accomplish our goals.

  • " Aligned with our ambition to create one of the best capital meetups in the Nordics, Alexandra’s skills in event management, branding and her ability to add that extra sparkle in everything she does, fits right into what we want to accomplish", says Sofia Hjelmberg, event general as well as investor relations at GU Ventures. "With this stellar addition, we feel confident that the GoWest arena is heading in the right direction."

GU Ventures have had a solid, long-term business partnership with Alexandra in several of her previous roles. For the past 6 years, Alexandra has led Venture Cup Sweden and west Sweden successfully. Prior to that, she worked on several Swedish and international events, amongst them #Connect2Capital, organized by Connect in west Sweden, one of the event partners of GoWest.

  • "I'm so happy to join this qualified team and together continue to build on a highly requested platform with a huge potential for our region", says Alexandra Björk.
