GU Ventures recognized by UBI Global among the Top Challengers in Europe

The UBI Global World Ranking Report and Benchmark Study for the years of 2021-2022 have just been announced. GU Ventures was recognized as a Top Challenger in Europe in good company of four other European incubators, such as Chalmers Ventures, I3P, Spinlab and Yes!Delft.

UBI Global, the Stockholm-based innovation intelligence company and community known for the assessment and mapping of business incubators and accelerators, have released the top lists and top challengers as assessed by the World Benchmark Study 2021-2022.

It hones in on a concentrated sample of 109 business incubators and accelerators located in 56 countries and announces some of the world's top ranked programes in four cathegories and 21 KPI:s within three focus areas: "value for client startups", "value for program" and "value for ecosystem".

“Following a rigorous data-driven approach, we assessed and benchmarked incubation organizations across the world,” says Joshuah Sowah, Head of Research at UBI Global. ”Our study is in tune with the multiple facets of the international incubation ecosystem and illustrates critical challenges and opportunities the participating organizations face.”

In addition to recognizing the top performers, UBI Global also highlight and identify the top challengers in each region. Top Challenger were announced to stand out due to their impressive overall impact and performance achievements relative to its respective regional peers. The five Top Challengers in Europe are Chalmers Ventures, GU Ventures, I3P, Spinlab and Yes!Delft.

Achievement of Top Challenger among European peer organizations, as assessed by UBI Global, means that GU Ventures demonstrates exceptional value for client startups, value for the local ecosystem, and overall attractiveness as an organization.

The rankings were presented via a live stream event conducted this afternoon by UBI Global and hosted by imec and imec.istart from Ghent, Belgium.
