About QSIP – Quantum Sweden Innovation Platform

Quantum technology is at an early commercial stage, but is developing rapidly and is expected to become a key technology in the future in areas such as health, energy, finance and defence.

Sweden needs a cohesive force to turn quantum research into innovation and strengthen its competitiveness. ¨

This is why the innovation platform of Quantum in Sweden is now being launched at Chalmers Industriteknik with funding from Vinnova. Other participating parties are WACQT-IP, GU Ventures, RISE, the innovation offices at Chalmers, KTH, Lund University and Linköping University, and the companies Ericsson, Scalinq and Con-Science.

The main purpose of the platform is to provide the conditions for the research currently conducted at universities around Sweden to be developed into applications and commercialised by Swedish companies, an area in which the fuoundation of Chalmers Industrial Technology is an expert. But also that it becomes technology that is integrated into Swedish industry and increases the competitiveness of Swedish industry.
