Convert saline land to arable land

OlsAro Crop Biotech AB uses modern molecular breeding techniques to develop non-GM wheat varieties adapted to high salinity soils. Such areas, which cover ca. 7% of the global arable land, are currently not possible to use for agriculture.

Impact: To reuse cultivation areas that are no longer cultivable due to high salinity and to prevent salinization of still usable land
