Profundus, pioneers in eye diagnostics with high resolution retina imaging, is now moving from GU Ventures to Astra Zeneca BioVentureHub. The hub is in the middle of the Astra Zeneca building in Mölndal Gothenburg and is an open innovation eco system where growing life science companies and researchers are in the same place for better cooperation.
Profundus is now in the process of producing two instruments for customers based on their unique research system. Recruiting and moving to new facilities are two important steps on the journey towards building a Swedish MedTech company. On the 1st of September the company will move from GU Ventures to Astra Zeneca BioVentureHub. Profundus will rent office and lab and this will give great possibilities to further optimize the system together with the Founders.
